Care Closet to Support HSD Students
Care Closet to Support HSD Students
Posted on 02/07/2018
Hockinson School District is creating a Care Closet to assist students in need of food, clothes, shoes, school supplies and toiletries. Opening the third week of March, it will be managed by HSD school counselors, middle and high school leadership students, and parent volunteers.

Students will be able to turn order forms into their school office and pick up their orders there or at the Care Closet, near the District Office. Orders will be identified by student number.

If you’d like to help: Each school is collecting non-perishable, unexpired food items, clothes, shoes, school supplies and toiletries. Please click here to see a list of specific items. To help after the drive, please email your school’s counselor, who can alert you when there is a future need.

More information is available from your student’s school counselor or Assistant Superintendent Slade McSheehy at 360-448-6400.
